Privacy Policy
How GoalKeepers collects, uses and protects the information of schools, staff and students.
Last updated 25 June 2026
This policy is a template provided as a starting point. Each school runs GoalKeepers under its own branding and should review and adapt this document with its own legal counsel before relying on it.
Introduction
GoalKeepers is a white-label student-engagement platform for schools, built on the Prayaas Assessments engine. This policy explains what information the platform collects, how it is used, and the choices available to schools, staff, parents and students. It applies to the GoalKeepers workspace your school runs and to the marketing site.
Each school operates its own isolated workspace, usually on its own subdomain with its own colours and logo. Your school is the data controller for the information it manages within GoalKeepers; we act as the platform provider that processes that information on its behalf.
Information we collect
We collect only the information needed to run the platform for your school. This falls into two broad groups:
- Account information - names, email addresses, the school and class a person belongs to, role (such as staff, ambassador or student), and the credentials used to sign in.
- Usage information - activity created while using the platform, including quiz and challenge attempts, practice-zone progress and the mistake notebook, attendance and homework records, leaderboard and badge standings, and the diagnostic and analytics data those activities produce.
How we use it
Information is used to provide and operate the features your school has switched on. In practice this means:
- Running live and async quiz events, the Saturday weekly challenge, the question bank and the practice zone.
- Maintaining leaderboards, badge tiers, the student-ambassador programme, attendance, homework and kindergarten planning.
- Producing the analytics and progress reports that help staff support each student and class through the year.
- Securing accounts, supporting sign-in, processing India-first billing, and keeping the platform reliable.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use student data for advertising.
Per-school data isolation
Every school's data is kept isolated from every other school on the platform. Staff and students see only their own school's workspace, and the white-label branding - colours, logo and subdomain - keeps each school self-contained. Information from one school is never blended with another's.
Cookies & sessions
The platform uses essential cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in, remember your workspace and keep the service secure. These are required for the platform to function. We do not use them to track you across other websites.
Third-party add-ons
GoalKeepers offers optional add-ons that a school can switch on, with single sign-on from the GoalKeepers workspace. Each add-on runs in its own per-school workspace and handles only the information needed for its purpose:
- Prayaas Assessments - board-style mock exams, diagnostic reports and analytics for staff and students.
- Website AI Chatbot - answers visitor questions from your knowledge base and captures enquiry details into a per-school admin dashboard.
- Social Media Studio - plans, schedules and publishes posts from a shared content calendar in your school's own workspace.
Where single sign-on is enabled, your staff move between GoalKeepers and a connected add-on already authenticated. Information shared with an add-on is limited to what that add-on needs to work.
Data retention
We keep information for as long as your school maintains an active workspace and the information is needed to provide the service, or as required to meet legal, accounting and reporting obligations. When a school leaves the platform, its data can be removed or returned in line with the arrangement agreed with the school.
Children's & students' data
GoalKeepers is used in a school setting, where the school directs how student information is collected and used. Student accounts are created and managed by the school, and the data they generate – attempts, progress, attendance and the like - exists to support each student's learning. Parents and guardians can raise questions about a student's information through the school, which remains the point of contact for student records.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, individuals can ask to access, correct or delete their personal information. Because your school is the controller of its own workspace, these requests are usually handled by the school. We support schools in responding to such requests for the information held within GoalKeepers.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time as the platform evolves or as legal requirements change. When we do, we will revise the date shown at the top of this page. We encourage you to review it periodically.
Contact
If you have questions about this policy or about how your information is handled, please get in touch through our contact page. For student records, your school remains the first point of contact.
